If you could be featured in a magazine which one would you choose?
Either Psychology Today (as a therapist) or National Geographics (though I don't know what I could contribute to it).
What is the one word that perfectly describes your day today?

Lily.
She controls it, every aspect of it. She dictates when I take my showers, when I eat, when I sleep, when I do my chores, etc. She is the runner of my life. I suppose this was warned to me, and I didn't quite understand what the heck people were talking about. I'm not complaining, by no means, but wow, what a change it has been in life. It's exciting and very rewarding, though, when she looks up at me and stops crying the second she realizes The Mama's here in her vicinity. It makes me just want to have three dozen more kids (okay no, I'm just kidding, Universe, don't take me up on that! :P). She looks at me and smiles and I'm like "Oh my gooodness when did my days NOT revolve around her?" :)
What three qualities do you look for in a partner?

It's gotta be: intelligence, humor, and humility/kindness. Can't stand an arrogant, boring idiot. ;P
What are you most looking forward to in August?
Honestly, this is the sappiest answer to this question ever, but I'm looking most forward to being able to sleep through the night with the baby not waking us up even once. It's wishful thinking right now, what with the fact that Lily Bean is still a newborn, but hey, one can only hope and dream! :) Sleep has never tasted so delicious before.
What personality trait has gotten you in the most trouble?
Okay so I needed to write a post here. It's been many, many moons. So I figure the easiest way to start again is to do a QotD post. Here goes my answer:
The personality trait I possess that has gotten me in most trouble is my brutal honesty. Over the last few years, I've controlled it better, but before then, I used to be as blunt as heck, and sometimes even brutal. I still do that now, but more in a productive way (at least I like to think so, anyway). I've had lots of insecure friends say goodbye to me because of my brutal honesty -- my intention isn't to hurt, it's just to share what I am observing. I've learned, though, that not everyone wants to know what I observe. Heh. I can live with that now.
What was the last wedding you went to? Were you in the wedding?
OUR wedding! Hehehhe. And yes, I was totally in the wedding: I was the bride!! Hehehehe.

Tell us about an event that changed your life forever.

When I first started chatting with Dave. :) I didn't know it at the time, but he would soon become first my friend, then my only friend, then my best friend, then my boyfriend, then my live-in partner, then my fiance, and soon my husband. Spending the last 8 and some years with him as my significant other has become one of the best changes in my life.
Do you believe there is intelligent life on other planets?
Sure, why not? I bet life on other planets ask the same thing about us. "Is there intelligent life on Earth?" And even if they do see us, they may not be so quick to say "yes." :P Just because we haven't found solid, undeniable proof doesn't mean there isn't any. We exist, so why can't they? Pretty selfish of us to believe that we're alone in all this space.
Who's going to be in the Final Four?
